Terms of Service

Last updated: September 12, 2026

These terms govern your use of patrolwave.com. Please read them carefully. They include terms for specific products, limits on PatrolWave's liability, and a choice of Florida law and courts.

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and PatrolWave ("PatrolWave," "we," "us" or "our"). They govern your access to and use of patrolwave.com (the "site"). By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

If you use the site on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you're authorized to accept these Terms for that organization, and "you" includes the organization.

The site and our products

The site is informational. It describes PatrolWave and the products we're developing: PlateSense, QuickQuery, QuickPermit and PatrolWave AI.

  • These products are in development and are not yet available.
  • Product descriptions reflect our current plans. Features, availability and timing may change at any time without notice.
  • Nothing on the site is an offer to sell, a promise to deliver any product or feature, or legal or other professional advice.
  • When a product becomes available, it will be governed by its own terms and privacy notice. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the product's terms control for that product.

Acceptable use

You may use the site only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl, harvest or copy content or data from the site by automated means, except that search engines may index public pages as permitted by our robots.txt file;
  • interfere with or disrupt the site, its servers or its networks, including by overloading, flooding or attacking them;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or related systems, or probe, scan or test their vulnerabilities without our written permission;
  • upload or transmit viruses, malware or other harmful code;
  • use the contact form to send spam, automated or bulk messages, or content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory or misleading, or to impersonate anyone;
  • use the site in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others; or
  • help anyone else do any of these things.

We may block or restrict access to the site for anyone we believe is violating these Terms.

Messages you send us

Sending us a message through the contact form or by email doesn't create a customer, client or confidential relationship, and doesn't obligate PatrolWave to provide any product or service. Please give accurate contact details and don't send confidential or sensitive information. We handle messages as described in our Privacy Policy.

Product terms

The following terms apply to anyone who uses, or plans to use, the products described on the site. They add to each product's own terms when it becomes available.

QuickQuery

  • PatrolWave is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. (the "FCRA").
  • You may not use QuickQuery, or any information obtained through it, for any purpose covered by the FCRA, including employment, tenant, credit or insurance screening, or as a factor in deciding a person's eligibility for any of them.
  • You're responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your searches and your use of the results, including laws on privacy, public records and the use of personal information. You may not use QuickQuery to stalk, harass or unlawfully discriminate against anyone.

PlateSense and vehicle data

  • You're responsible for using PlateSense, and any license plate or vehicle data, lawfully.
  • That includes complying with the federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, 18 U.S.C. § 2721 et seq., and with applicable state laws on collecting, using, retaining and sharing license plate data.
  • You're responsible for having any authorization or permissible purpose that the law requires for your use.

QuickPermit

  • Customers are responsible for their own parking rules, permit policies, and towing and enforcement decisions.
  • That includes complying with applicable state and local laws on parking and towing, including signage and notice requirements, and with any governing documents that apply to their property or community.

Intellectual property

The site and its content, including text, graphics, design, code, logos and the PatrolWave emblem, are owned by PatrolWave or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

PatrolWave's names, product names, logos and emblem are used to identify PatrolWave and its products. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except to refer accurately to PatrolWave and its products.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to view the site for your personal or internal business use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.

Third-party links and services

The site may link to, or rely on, services run by other companies, such as Web3Forms for contact form delivery and Google Fonts for typefaces. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

The site and all content on it are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, PatrolWave disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.

We don't warrant that the site will be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that information on it, including product descriptions, is complete, accurate or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PatrolWave and its owners, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to the site or these Terms, even if we've been told such damages are possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the site or these Terms is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless PatrolWave and its owners, employees, contractors and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your use or misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

Governing law and venue

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the site, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Any such dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and PatrolWave consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and PatrolWave about the site. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a provision, that isn't a waiver of our right to do so later.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Changes take effect when posted, and by continuing to use the site afterward, you accept the updated Terms.
